View Full Version : help tuning into 26e please

have been told by quite a few people i should get 26e , for mbc1 &2
i have a technomate tm 800 hd reciever.

have done a manual scan using the frequencies from lyngsat but its getting nothing .
can someone please help me step by step to enable me to get these channels please

i must be doing something wrong somewhere

What size dish u got?

I can get these channels in the NW on a 1m dish but these are really weak signals

You can pick these up in the NW with an 80cm using an Inverto Black Ultra, Depends on the type of dish though as well

i have a 97cm technomate dish with a black ultra lnb
i am down swansea way .

Im in mindlands and i can those channels up using 85cm dish. Just make sure its aligned properly. It needs to be exact as 2 steps this way or that and you might miss it.

that is my fear , my installer has missed it , i cant allign the dish i wouldnt know how ,
i think i may need to get someone in again to re allign it correctly .
is there a section on the forums for installers nr swansea ? ?

Im also in NW have a 80cm dish and just upgraded to the black ultra lnb and get signals of 55% with the old lnb neva got anything so i would recommend the black ultra lnb to pull in the signals ;) good luck..

have got a black ultra lnb .
got a guy coming out tomorrow t re allign the dish . so should have them then .
