Replace Image.

Just read a post earlier on saying OpenPLi image performs faster than VTI.
I have a USB backup of my setup (VTI), if I were to install OpenPLi would I have to start from scratch with my motor set up and re-scan all my satellites....What I'm saying is "would it be just like starting from the beginning" ?
Or can I use some settings from my VTI saved image.

i think you could install your new selected image , and then restore settings with your back up ... i did it coming from Dream elite to PLi ..

well .. i have the back ups stored on hard drive , and when i flashed the the pli image and it starts up ...very early on you get an on screen prompt to restore your settings , select yes and it reads the back up ....sorted !
