im having to use a 3g router amd a dongle for ccam for about 3 weeks.2 question are all dongles 3g?? and it keeps breking up every 10secs can anyone help please thank you

1. yes all current broadband dongles are 3G
2. read the site rules

Just as it's a dongle doesn't mean it's 3g.

Its only 3g if there is a valid 3g signal in that area, otherwise it will be GPRS which is painfully slow

the physical dongle it self is 3g but as you say there are two parts to it, ie the dongle and the nearby masts. if your nearest masts dont use 3g your dongle will not work at full speed.
