Auto Timer

I have just decided to use the auto timer and encountered the following problem.
Whenever I use the Add (Blue circle) the system crashes and a green screen appears and VIX restarts taking 10 seconds.
It requests I send the error log to somewhere but it's gone before I have time to find out how.

So what am I doing wrong ?

Blue Button/VIX/ does not give me a log manager option !

log manager is found in MENU --> Setup -- System -- Logs
