yes,...in tuner config, set it to advanced
option to use USALs, set it to no
then set it to your req position, ie; 19 east set it to 19 and so on
save
then go to positioner movement, nudge the dish east or west until you fnd the sat you are after, and save the position to ( if 19 east ) 19
but really USALs are your best option
thank you i will give it a go
This is the exact tutorial i used to setup my Uno with a dsieqc motor, it's the same process for all E2 receivers.
good morning thanks for your help last night managed to put in 19 e and 13e tried to add 0.w and 16 e same way this morning when i go to positioner then tune there is no new sat just 19 an 16 is it not saving when i am setting them up please help sorry people
Why dont you just upload a set of engima 2 settings / bouquets and use USALS?
i had usuals set up before and it caused me a few issues i was getting good signals on all sats then couldnt pick up sats swithed to diseqc no issues so found it easier
Is your dish aligned correctly? If the dish is algined correctly you shouldn't have any issues provided you input your correct longitude and latitude.
it might be a touch out due to the bad winds up here the last week might have to get up on the roof at the weekend which what i wanted to avoid i will give it a go thanks

Sometimes you can compensate by adjusting your logitude ;)
cheers for your help will give it a go
It is also important that you set the Lnb to the same number as the position ....for eg..28.2e stored position 1 set Lnb to Lnb1...then 19.2e stored pos.2 set the Lnb to Lnb2...then 16.0e stored pos.3 set the Lnb to Lnb3 and so on for each Sat. found.
hope this is of help..
