usb - ambx

i have gone back to vix 2.1 because the virsion of ambx on 2.3 doesnt work for me.the version of ambx is 1.0+git79 on 2.1, is it the same on 2.3

vu+ solo only has 1 usb at the back, can i put a converter on it so i can have more usb s or will that not work ?
