here you go mate i've had a mare of a time getting Channel 4 HD to work in spite of what the onscreen info say's the ident is wrong, matter of trial and error i sorted it.

as i say i've only edited the HD channels for the time being, if these are ok, i'll see about the others maybe.

Just had a look at B16MCC and he has a note on the end of his that says


NOTE:- HD channels are now type 25 , adjust your picon filenames to suite.

You only need to do that on the August release. I am using the July one and picons work fine. I tried the August one but took it off as the Channel numbers are off by 1.

Just a quick update I know have Most of the channels working with picons from Stanmans post above (although im now back on BH 133f) only missing BBc HD and Five HD @ the mo, will have a better go later on because im out today.

Those work fine for me, it may be that the channel ID's is wrong. Make your life easier, go to channels and select all and tarwl through the diff versions of the channels and pick and swap the one with the picon on them.

Sky Real Lives HD was broadcasting from transponder 11798 H. That stream has been relabeled as 3866 and now has EPG listings for Living HD.

Most picons on this thread are made by Licher and not by me he has thread on a German forum where you can request him to make them for you.

Im learning to make my own picons there are programs you can use but my German is rusty LOL

I have the one with ref name you mentioned, and it doesn't show. Just checked the service ref, and it says:

Whenver I zap to ch4 hd, I get the picon of whichever channel I was viewing before. If there was no channel (i.e., I boot up to the ch4 hd), I get no picon at all, not even the default picon... Anyway able to help?!

My own settings, with channels scanned in...

Installed picons from here (http://www.vuplus-support.co.uk/showthread.php?1368-a-few-fixed-picons-Astra-28.2&p=11785&viewfull=1#post11785), and all working fine funnily enough (including hd movies on sky, which weren't working with previous settings I had?!)

The problem was the image file used for the 1_0_19 picon. If I deleted the png file, and used the one from 1_0_86, then it worked fine...

Do they need ftp over or as mentioned just create a folder called picons on an empty pendrive and insert pendrive into the box and it will do the rest, it this correct?

When in the main menu youll be looking for service searching of information , the it will either be information or about obviously on the problem channel then you are looking for a set of figures like

1_0_1_3E2F_8BA_1_A0000_0_0_0

Something along those lines that is you service reference so if they dont match channels & picon u need to go into your picon folder on the box and adjust picon serivce reference to match the actual referecnce on the channel

Sorry bassethound - seens as that we have updated picons daily...maybe on a weekly basis to just create a rar file with the picons that are currently active. Dont worry about updating refs or anything. I find myself looking back to see whether i had downloaded individual picons from the site to find that i havent.

Yes, they will do, the ref are for particular sats. You will need to download the corresponding picons for the sats you have.

Hey guys just to point out i have found in the SGTFlipFlop pack pack to have correct Banga TV
with respect to UCTV [Hajj TV] the pack contains an image refering to Ramadan TV which can be used for now
with respect to Zing the pack conatins Zee Music Picon not Zing they are different channels and Zee MUsic was Available on that transponder before Zing took over

The disha is Licher yes beacause i saw the post that basset requested it in but the other 2 are old licher ones that he does not use any more nore does he keep them in his packs

if you look at them in comparison then you will notice the difference to them

although i have found a PCNE image and will be requesting that soon

Licher has released a new updated pack. i looked at the pack and many picons are now present but still his pack has Channel Ref errors so have spent and hour looking at refs and correcting them so all Refs are correct

Also you will find a Folder within my made pack that is called 'New and Alternatives' here you will find picons that are either new with no refs or alternatives that can be used depending on you guys taste [also i have placed the box office picon there too so you just need to correct the REF duplicate and add

I will continue to update the picons as and when i have them so you guys dont need to go on gooling for them

As before any missing Picons are also missing with Licher and need to be made [altough you will find that channel are complete just a few 900s and few radio picons missing]

my bouquet is based on B16MCC but with corections and favorites right at the top after the main listing. i scan my sky box and make sure all channels are correct and i have taken away the plcae holder channels and replaced them with a blank unnanmmed channel so to save on confusion and congestion
