View Full Version : VTI cant find my usb stick ?
As above latest VTI image cant seem to find my 1 gig usb flash drive ? it has found and initiated my internal Weston digital HD but not the usb stick ? pain because i like to put my Picons on there.
any suggestions welcome.
VTI mounts the USB stick in /media/sdb1 not usb. create a "usb" folder in /media and it will mount it in /media/usb, no need to change any else , i think he just forgot to create the folder :).
to format it open a telnet session and type the follwing:
mkdir /media/usb
umount /dev/sdb1
mkfs.ext2 -I 128 -b 4096 /dev/sdb1
mount /dev/sdb1 /media/usb
mkdir /media/usb/picon
ln -s /media/usb/picon /usr/share/engima2/picon
then copy your picons into /media/usb/picon
have fun with your duo.

You can check if and to wich mountpoint a stick is mounted in VTI Panel. System Tools
I have done as AndyBlac suggested and all is well except the HD channels ? any ideas why the HD channel picons don't show ??

check the file name with the channel info they have to match, most picon packs are out of date, as channels change there transponders.

I want to mount my network drive with address 192.168.1.11 and use it instead of an internal harddisk.
How do I do that? My VU+SOLO has a mount-program, but I do not know what parameters to fill-in.
HELP!
