Just got ET5000 from WOS tried Vix image and it works but i cannot load the latest PLI image 2.1, the files are in a different directory as well ??

I like the pli as im used to this with my old dream box,

help please

Latest Pli uses a new bootloader. I'd recommend waiting for the new ViX image which isn't too far away. We will also post the upto date bootloader when ready.

I also advise to be careful when flashing bootloaders.

Ok thanks, but it makes no sense that we have new images but we cannot use them :confused: :confused:

How do we load the bootloaders that are on here then ?

You are free to use which ever image you want, ViX on the other hand will not release a image just to say we did, like so many other teams.

We test and test and test some more, so that you the end user get the most stable and user friendly image possible.

Thanks, i did fine them somewhere else, running the latest dreambox uk version now , make the old dreambox 800 look like a snail lol !

Just becareful flashing old images. Some users have claimed to be able to use ViX 2.2.1 by re-naming the flash files folder.

Yes does make a DM800 look like a crappy snail. Et5000 is a superb receiver for the current price.

Thanks i will stick with the DBUK image for now and look at the new vix one once released
