fitted hdd internal, nothing happening, not coming up in menu not reconising at all . any ideas.

is hard disk listed on your unit?? (setup/system) if its listed, click on harddisk, then initialization

is it set to master or slave, also is it new?? it may be that it needs reformating to fat 3 on a computer

More info is needed ,
What image are you using?
What is the HDD?
Was it formatted before it went into the duo?
I had problems with mine (my own fault) and had to zero the drive before it work in the duo again.

the hard drive if its not seen in the previously posted menu, if all connections are correct, then it should be formatted on a comp to fat 3

i take it that the drive is an interernal drive, rather than external

Flash latest official image to the Duo, initialize the HDD then re-flash with image of your choice.
