I downloaded and installed the back up script via download button. When I go to back the image to a 8GB USB stick it keeps saying not enough space????:confused:

On a side note I downloaded the USB PICONS and EPG to the USB but there were no files when I checked it on my PC.

open up a telnet session, and it should show you all your mounts, where they're mounted from (i.e. /dev/sda1 etc), and the free space when you type the command:

df -h

It says /dev/sdb1 14.9G (size)
8.0K Used
14.9 Free
More confused now why its not backing up

Can you copy & paste the whole output from the df -h??? Will give us more of an idea ;)

You haven't mounted the usb correctly?! Are you sure it's an 8gb stick? As looks like it's a 16gb stick, which has been moutned to /media/sdb1 rather than /media/usb...

Have you gone to the blue panel and mounted the usb?!

Reason why there isn't enough space, is because /media/usb is a directory on the flash. It will only become your usb stick once you have mounted it. Once mounted in the device panel through blue button, restart the box, and go back to device panel, and check it says it's mounted, then telnet and issue the df -h command. This should give something similar to:

Filesystem Size Used Available Use% Mounted on
/dev/mtdblock0 118.0M 55.7M 62.3M 47% /
udev 2.0M 88.0k 1.9M 4% /dev
/dev/mtdblock2 4.0M 388.0k 3.6M 9% /boot
tmpfs 69.1M 1.9M 67.1M 3% /var
tmpfs 69.1M 8.0k 69.1M 0% /tmp
tmpfs 69.1M 0 69.1M 0% /dev/shm
/dev/sdb1 14.9G 8.0k 14.9G 0% /media/usb
/dev/sda1 232.8G 36.8G 196.1G 16% /media/hdd
