Ftp password !!!!

Hi everyone
i have just installed Dream Ellite 1.33 ...and i,m now trying to ftp some files over ...using ws-ftp le ... but it keeps asking for a password ?...
could anyone point me in the right direction ?

Hi mate

The user should be "root" and password left blank however for safety of your Vu+ i would set a password to do this telnet the box

User : root

Return for password

type ps then return

now type passwd and return

enter a password of your choice

u will be asked to retype it do this and return

Now you VU+ is secure when you FTP use this root/your password to access your box

This worked a treat for me last night when i was setting mine up..

Not complicated.. and very easy..
