I'm currently running VTI 1.3 with LT6 skin...
When I press the OK button a info bar pops up, to the left a
little icon/avatar shows (mine just shows the VTI image) on
some images I have seen it displays the channel icon/avatar.
Is this just the LT6 skin ?
or can I activate something ?
If I tried another skin like dmconcinnity-hd would this show the channel icon/avatar ?

this is called a Picon, you will need to install a pcion pack in order to use them, if i where you i would start here (http://www.vuplus-support.co.uk/showthread.php?883-how-to-instal-picons&highlight=Picon)

nevr use it, but if it has a FTP like function then it should be possible.

Is this correct ?
Open Dreambox Control Centre
ftp/ usr/share/enigma2 /create folder called "picon" with all the unzipped picons in it ?

Is that it ?

It's better to save it on to usb tho. Not sure whether the image you're using supports it, but try ftping to /media/usb/picon. Saves filling your flash up, plus the picons will be there when you reflash a new image ;)

pooface......I'm struggling with the USB stick exercise.
Bear with me...
USB Stick with folder in root called "picon"
Inside it, all the picons I downloaded (unzipped)13e, 16e, etc.

Then insert into rear of VU+ Duo...Yes.

Then what ?

Please explain in detail....I'm not getting this am I ?
