:confused: do i have to record to fat32 on my hdd or can i use other types like exfat etc. i have tm5402hd thanks for any replies in advance.

Moved to the correct section.

Just try the different file formats and see what works. I'd say FAT32 or NTFS. Just try them.

It needs to be EXT3/4, when you initialize the HDD, it will be automatically formatted to EXT.

The TM book of words says "Fat16/32 is file system supported. It says NTFS not supported. This is why no recorded file is greater than 1.99Gbs.
