setanta sports one - no picture

hi guys im having trouble clearing setanta sports one - im getting sound but a black screen any ideas what the problem could be ?

and take it the card is in the reader, complete with box id?

understand the lack of response. its a really weird one where server is supplying, client is receiving but cant clear but all further down the chain have no issue' just noticed today. know this is not appreciated but hey. setanta works fine but setanta1 blank. anyway i'll work it out during the week

Did u try rescan the transponder?

now setanta 1 works setanta is blank even with rescan.

i get a picture when i hit picture in picture - top right hand of the screen vu+ duo shows a picture but goes black again when i come out of it

Hi Mate,
I have this type of issue in the past , you will need to edith /change the video and audio pid, please go to this link on the site.

So guess no one has any ideas as to why this box just won't show any picture to those effected channels?

To be honest mate it's not the box. the Uno is more than capable of receiving the channels it's down to changes made by sky as with all others who have had this problem. try loading a newer set of bouquets such as the new catseyes ones it's likely that the PID's are wrong on the affected channels and need changing.

what you have to remember is that only sky issued receivers can automatically update their channel settings, no third party box can do this. you can make things a little easier by doing a regular rescan or using something like a premade bouquet or the dreamboxuk service database to generate a new bouquet as and when needed, but every single time sky change a frequency or PID etc, you will need to update the box to accommodate those changes.

dump your current bouquet pack to your pc using dreamboxedit and look through for the three mentioned channels and see if they differ from these

no worries mate, glad you got things sorted. when they work these satellites are a joy to work with, when things go wrong you sometimes have to walk away before the urge to drop kick it out of a bedroom window gets too strong.

EDITED my original post with the correct PID values.

I have done what you guys have said, edited the VPID ans APID using DreamBoxEdit saved it then sent the settings back to the box.
Restarted GUI.
But it's just the same it reverts back to original settings.

Any ideas ?
