help needed

help please I,ve managed to get disc settings in ,scanned astra 28 got freeview ok, network got ip address 192.168.1.191 but I can't connect to miniweb to put settings in & access ccCam Iam really struggling now, any help please

Have you tried with filezilla?? you that IP address and you need /ETC or it might be /VAR/ETC, the CFG file is in there assuming you installed the cccam.

thanks for the reply, ccCam is already installed on the image I'am trying to access it through mini web but cant connect to it I've tested the internet connection all is good also can't connect to dreambox edit ass well

For dreamboxedit, are you using engima2 as the settings and putting in your password.

To edit the CFG, just use filezilla and navigate to the location I posted earlier.

I,ve tried with enigma 2 setting I have not set a password on the box yet, with filezilla do you put you box ip in as the server &port no 80

easiest for me was to use dcc to ftp all you have to do is make sure it connects to router and box click telnet then type passwd ,enter your new password put password in box click ftp ,then your in
go to etc

with dreamedit use the same password as you used with dcc

Host is the box ip address, username is root and password is whatever you set it to, can leave port blank as I never put one in and it works fine

right chaps got the ccCam sorted I've tried to put vhanibals e2 settings on with dreambox edit but says no lambed file in folder ??????/

download the settings you want unziped them and just put you ip and user in db edit if you have not set a password then it should be blank so just leave it blank

tanks got to the part send files to dreambox then disconcted Error sending file "lamedb" to the Dreambox. I'll try other settings

got settings loaded, now I've got to get the dish moving I've put my long & lat in but can't get motor to move, thanks so far
