Will an ET9000 show a picture on a 1920 x 1200 PC type monitor?

If so where will the picture appear?

Would a 1920 x 1080 monitor be any better?

I can't get a picture on my 1600 x 1200 PC monitor, - using a DVI input, however I doubt that my monitor supports HDCP, though I don't know whether the ET9000 needs this.

how you connecting to the DVI, as far as I know its only HDMI, convertor might be faulty.
