how to end a recording

hey guys,just need to know how to end a recording that i set for 180 minutes.
i just wanted to record a few hours of f1 on bbci.i pressed record buton and selected how many minutes i wanted to record for,i now need to stop the recording as i need both tuners :p
ive done all the usual stuff but it doesnt stop:(

Are you using VIX?
If so, Long press of green button.
You can stop the current recordings there.

Those are the two ways you can do it, are you sure there is a recording?

i must admit,this is a great hobby and intrest for me
with all members wanting to help and get involved with other peoples probs its great.
a few months ago i knew nothing about these linux boxes,now i know enough to get up and running thx to you guys:p
