Hi i looking to buy a second hd receiver for another room my budget is £150 what would people consider to best box for that price 1tuner would be fine thanks.

Depends if you want Linux or not. The only HD Linux receiver is the TM800.

Non Linux I'd look at the TM5402HD or any of the Spiderbox HD range 7000HD onwards.

They're ok, do the job imo if all you want to do is watch TV. Still not as customisable as a VU+ or Xtrend, but imo they do the job fine to use as second receiver.

If your not going to use the PVR function, than TM800 is fine, if you are than go for the ET5K or SOLO.

I can recommend the Blade BM7000S - it's not linux but as a result very easy to setup and use

The new TM-5302HD is a piece of piss to setup too. Its even got a cradle inside to site a pocket 2.5" HDD USB drive inside. At £135 its a steal imo. Great HD pic quality. Even had it recording 2 channels and watching a third on same transponder.
