Discovery Networks International will start 12th January 2012 uncoded channel Discovery MAX . The station will be distributed throughout Spain via digital terrestrial broadcasting (DVB-T) to K69, which currently uses the Veo TV.

The launch of this new channel in the Spanish DVB-T is the result of a recent agreement between Discovery Networks and the Unidad Editorial in connection with financial problems subsidiaries Veo TV.

Discovery MAX is an entertainment channel that will bring shows from Discovery 13 stations that are distributed in the U.S. and 24 stations from around the world. The station will broadcast a series of programs with different documents, including the wild beasts, motoring, cooking, dock reality and survival in extreme conditions.

Many Spanish DVB-T stations is in financial problems and a channel lease to third parties. This is the case of La 10, controlled media group Vocento, which is currently in discussions with several potential candidates to hire a digital channel. Among them are Fox, Disney, Viacom and even Real Madrid TV.
