It certainly is a good idea if someone has the time to make them..
You have to bare in mind that everyone who works on any image and the addons.. All do it free of charge.. and in their spare time..

I have found a Halloween skin that works (please note not my work) am i allowed to upload it if so how?

Ok like i said i did not create this skin, i am using this skin but does not seem to display now and next on the info bar apart from that its not bad but if anyone has a newer version or different skin would be appreciated.

VTI skins are not mapped properly for ViX so some buttons etc may not work as expected, The skin should work but may need editing for full functionality.

On vu duo can i use a png file for bootloader . it currently is a mvi file

There are some mostly for BH and VTI but not ViX. Not many skinners produce skins for ViX for some odd reason.

Just unzip and put files in usr/share
using the latest openvix Apollo.043-vusolo2 image ive tried upload a bootlogo to usr/share i even used file permission 755....nothing seems to change the boot logo can any one help please.

That's because they should go to /etc/enigma2 (and of course require an E2-restart to become effective).
a small post makes a whole lot of difference thank you Rob spot on it worked....:)
