WDTV Live to play .ts files from a duo

I'm thinking of getting a media player so that my daughter can watch her cartoons i've recorded on my Vu+ duo in the other room. I've done a bit of research and the WDTV Live seems good. Has anyone had any experience of accessing .ts recordings from a Linux Sat box with this item?

Or if you can recomend a better solution

yes mate it can be done, i've got the WD live hub very simple to setup.

all you do is once you've entered all your settings and it's up and running, just select "files" then the red button, enter the VU+ user/pass>remember me>right cursor>ok and that it.

btw it's a fabulous little box i'm sure you'll love it.
