Freesat has resolved the question of which brands are getting the best on-demand TV support.

(Panasonic owners, prepare for disappointment.)

A newly-arrived table on Freesat's website lists on-demand availability for all Freesat HD products.

The clear winners are Humax box owners, who've already got BBC iPlayer and ITV Net Player; the outright losers are the unlucky few who bought LG's Freesat HD TV, because LG bailed out without developing any on-demand services.

The table confirms BBC iPlayer for every other Freesat HD product (Panasonic recently upgraded its 2008 HD TVs).

ITV Net Player is promised to Sagem, Bush, Goodmans, Grundig, and Manhattan zapper box and PVR owners, and Samsung TV owners - but it's the infamous 'coming soon'* statement.

Samsung Freesat+ HD PVRs and Panasonic 2011 HD TVs are on a 'To Be Confirmed' list for ITV Net Player.

There's bad news on the ITV Net Player front for owners of Technisat and Ferguson zappers, Panasonic's 2009/2010 Freesat+ PVRs, Sony Freesat HD TVs, and Panasonic 2008/2009/2010 HD TVs - it's never coming.

There is NO mention of 4oD, either.
