After the above or recommendation on Ebay of a seller who sells decent quality ones.

PSU is for an original so after something decent.

The PSU in my original went a while back, and I contacted dmm who sent out a replacement no questions. Box was about 15 months old iirc. So whether because it was under 2 years, I'm no sure. But would be worth a try...

stan you absolutly sure its the PSU i worked without a glitch when i had even upto the moment i sent it to you

the best i can do is offer you the cost of a replacement but i swear to you it was working when i sent it

Its alright mate dont worry about it, these things happen. Its definitely the PSU as works fine with the ET5K.

I tried other figure of 8 leads that I know were working but its still dead. Its at my mates now so will get the details of him to try DM.

let me ask my brother in law i think he still has his faulty dm500 if he does i'll ask him for the PSU off it

it should work on a DM800hd

It does work iirc, but make sure it's exactly the same power ratings. I think my 500 psu was 2 amp, but the dm800 was 3amp. Still worked, but possibility of it cutting out (as I had tried a 1amp before, and that cut out)...
