Just tried this, and got myself a free Usenet lifetime account. Granted, it's only 1mbit, with only 2 connections. But has 600 days retention, ssl etc, etc.

Signup asked for one of three countries (Netherlands, Belgium, Germany) but it still allowed me to register even though in the UK (but our European friends won't have any problems anyway :D).

Just downloading with it atm, and getting a steady 115-125 kb/s :thumbsup:

Not perfect, but if you're happy to wait, and only need it for small things (or as a filler server), then it's perfect imo :)

oh btw just curious can i add this to sabnzbd as a backup to my normal one

so in other words use 2 providers on 1 sabz app

Yes, that's exactly what you do. Can't remember the exact calling of it, but you add it, and tell it that it's a backup server (or something along those lines)...

Just add as an extra server, and in the config, I think it's something like backup server. Will have to look when I get home tho...

used to trawl news originally

but now expaneded to a high powered file host server system

google should tell you more
