Subtitles and Black Hole 1.6.5

I have a Vu+ Duo running Black Hole 1.6.5. When i activate subtitles by pressing the subtitles button on the remote and then select my language i get the subtitles i expect. I have to do this for each channel for which i want subtitles. The box remembers this setting so that the subtitles display as they should when i zap to the channel at a later time. However, when i restart the box, all subtitle settings are gone and i have to start from the beginning again. Very annoying! :(

Anyone know how to make the box remember subtitle settings after a restart?
