Hi iam using my sky card in my et9000 via oscam and dvapi i noticed that the channels take a long time to clear hd channels take longer than sd for some reason sometimes upto 12 secs.Ive tried both card slots and it does not appear to make any difference,has anyone got any idea how i can make the zapping quicker iam watching sky via tuner B and my channel master is using tuner A.ive tried switching the channel master to turner B and the other dish to tuner A but that didnt work at all thanks

Just some more on this strangely its appears that sometimes the zapping times are what you would expect and sometimes they are very slow,could this be caused by the card reader or something like that

I'm wondering whether it's actually a slowdown in the software itself ... as autotimer, by default, polls every 3 hours iirc. When polling, the box reactions slow down, and when changing channels, it isn't so fast to respond (originally, the box would not respond at all whilst doing an autotimer check, but andy put pauses in to allow the box to react, albeit slowly). In next version of vix, the pauses are more frequent, allowing the box to be more reactive, even when doing a timer check (just that the check takes longer to perform), so this will stop the problem. That's, if it's your problem in the first place :p (but since you say sometimes it works, others it doesn't, then I'm pretty certain that's the problem)

Zap time should be instant with your local card, have you added the caid in dvbapi file ?
Are you using a services file ?
Its all guess work with not knowing how you have it setup.

Did u read what I said about autotimer? Can u disable autotimer, and see if u still have the same problem?

SMARTCARD CLOCK FREQUENCY: /dev/sci1 37500000

this tells me that you are using cccam to read the card not oscam mate .

sorry bud i think this is it

mhz = 500
cardmhz = 500
ident = 0963:000000
group = 1
blockemm-unknown = 1
blockemm-g = 1
lb_weight = 100

i think your problem may be that you have card reader settings in oscam & cccam .

if you intend on using oscam as your card reader the i suggest you hash out #boxkey + #SMARTCARD CLOCK FREQUENCY: /dev/sci1 37500000

in cfg file . then stop oscam , stop cccam , restart oscam , restart cccam . that should do it hopefully .

make sure in oscam.server you have these settings :

protocol = internal
enable = 1
device = /dev/sci1
detect = cd
caid = 0963
