May sound a dumb question but just how do you set up to record a program a few days away that the EPG does not show.

You should have epg data for 7 days normally. You go to menu,timers,timers then green to add a timer you can then input time channel etc

I think there is something wrong with my EPG set up then as it does not move past the current day and it does not show all channels !

Is there a download for EPG ?

New info it does move past present day but

There seems to be no quick way to move forward other than hour by hour but it does move to other days but there is no program data on many channels

The < > buttons move forward days
I use xmltv importer menu,setup,system,epg,xmltv importer,sources I use satmate for uk just pick the one for you country the select manual to up date. On that page you can set up an automated update as well

Which image are you using and which Sat(s)?

I'm using the vix it's the best IMO I'm using a motorised dish system
