questions about spiderbox sd 5000, Gifts, currently the best in its price range???

Hello just a few questions since I am new to all this.

I am thinking of buying the spiderbox sd 5000 however have a few questions.


From my understanding from this post http://www.world-of-satellite.com/showthread.php?6070-spiderboxsd5000 the gift simply adds a few extra channels, however what I would like to know is if this “gift” patch is official or homebrew.

Is the service on the spiderbox sd 5000 to date, up and running and supported by “Gift patch”?

Is there any other SD boxes that have the same feature but is better then the spiderbox sd 5000 or is the spiderbox sd 5000 currently the best in its price range?

The gift is a free patch that i'm afraid we do not support. Take it as it says 'a gift', it can be taken away at any time.

No other box gives a free gift.
It's good box for the price gift is an added bonus.

SD pic is awsome imo

as for gifts i dont use em as im on fixed 28.2

the HD spiders also have gifts for em

but as said before thats an added bonus
