I love my new ipad 2

this ipad 2 is awsome so sleek so responsive so light lol the keyboard is awsome too, like being ona pc :thumbsup: i got the orange smart cover too, this thing is real neat, it just attaches to the side of the ipad by magnets amd just hugs it lol pit it doesnt cover the back, only the front.
This baby is gonna be replacing my laptop as that will be going to the mrs for a while lol

Seriously though if you thinkin of gettin one then you will not be dissapointed.

I was looking at the Ipads and Android tablets this week. Ended up settling for a Motorola Xoom 32GB with 3G + WIFI for £399 @ Carphone warehouse. Ipad2 equiv is £580, no way i could justify that.

The only thing i dont like about the Motorola Xoom is its a 100g heavier than the Ipad, as far as usuage and apps are concerned I'm well pleased with it :D

Flash isnt too much of an issue for me as youtube works and oter apps and i use oplayer which plays media from other sites too so there r a few work arounds. But it was jus the sleekness that topped it or me, so appealing and light lol

Which model did you buy? I just couldn't bring myself to spend £580 and in all honesty apart from the weight i think the Xoom is just as good. The screen is superb, as good as the ipad imo.

I got the 32gb 3g and wifi one. I got it on finance otherwise i dont think i woulda gone for it as i was thinkin of gettin it on contract from three, but didnt wana pay 250 for the ipad and 25 a month lol

Guess, what gonna go get an Ipad2. Was putting this Xoom through its paces last-night, found the types in the browser to damn laggy. Even the accuracy of the touch screen was terrible. Returned it for a refund this morning.

well have to throw my lot in. as ye will know there was a firesale of hp tablets so got myself the 10 inch 32g job. webos great. however better is that hp have dumped it so this will now allow these babies to be ported to android in due course. i see these tablets as being he future as they will be open to all future software developments

Yeh i was checkin that out but o2 offer pretty good 30 day rolling so if and when i need it ill jus activate it. Told ya u wnt be dissapointed. It is expensive but its worth every penny if u ask me. Apple are expensive but i think they back it up with the product. Thats jus my opinion

@ Sic, ive tried it and it does work quite well. my cousin said the browser works well for flash but i rarely need flash, safari does the job for me.

I had it goin before bout 6ish but it took about 25minz to download for some reason, guessin server musta been gettin hammered lol but yeh some nice noticable improvements and features. Love the wifi sync and software update. New imessage real nice too, safari is so muxh better now too. So lookin good so far :p

Yeh i had to leave it, went out came back to find it got an error while updating and took me 5 attempts trying different usb slots till it found one it liked and then updated lol still waitin for an untethered jailbreak
