View Full Version : For some reason on 4.8e i get 98% signal

Channels come on ie viasat history ect Snr 90%
Viasat football 0% viasat premier league 0%
Would love to have the football channels working 90%
Anyone else ever had this problem or better still anyone know how to rectify the prob :confused::confused:

Looks like some transponders are not available to you

I have same iSsue with 23.5e I cant get anything that is Thor3 but can get the rest

Have you tried re-scanning? Try going into a bouquet, press Green for satellites, choose 4.8, then look in services, see if there are duplicats of the channels.

Also what area are you? Size of dish and lnb used?

Yes tried re-scan --- looked in bouquets
In Spain 1.2m dish lnb invacom
Puzzling thing is like i said get over 90% with a lock on 4.8
Some channels come in at 93% + one viasat channel

You mentioned the Football channel. Is that the one on frequency 12130? If so, that's on the Nordic BSS beam. Have a look at the footprints for that beam:

That's tightly covering the Nordic regions, and needs a huge dish in spain I Would say. Compared to, for example, Viasat Explorer on 12360, which is on the Europe beam:

If your in Spain why dont you look at abu dhabi sports HD for football on 26e its alot cheaper than viasat and its 100% hd with english commentry

That's tightly covering the Nordic regions, and needs a huge dish in spain I Would say.Nordic beam isn't too difficult here (38.5, -0.5, south-east Spain). The really problematic transponders are the 8PSK ones.
