I tried this and to be honest it seems like a very poor alpha release.

1) After full virgin install - long press the power button on remote, select restart --> locks the box up solid.

2) After full virgin install - long press the power button on remote, select full reboot (or silmilar - can't remember exact wording) --> locks the box up solid. The only one that works is restart GUI.

3) The hdmi cec doesn't work (I have 2 anynet samsung TV's)

4) It has VU+ on all the logos all over the box (not a bug - but still shows lack of effort)

This was all in the first 10 mins of using - gave up then and went back to vix.

Basically if you have an image that won't work on the very basic functions (restarting the box) then it's really struggling.

I would not bother with this image as its a ported image and not a official image from vuplus/Black Hole as they only support images for VU+

so there would have been no testing of image or support given

try a original image from Vix/CT/XTREND at least you will get support from these image builders

Agreed I just thought people should know before wasting their time on it ;)

yes totally agreed, although it does tend to get a little confusing when every muppet under the sun decides to release a backup / ported image under their own name.

the number of so called VIX images i have come across with nothing what so ever to do with us is in the dozens easily.

Hi,

That's the Black Hole Image, but any people from Poland have come to the sources of the BH-Team.
And now they are making images for the ET-series.
And soon come new boxes of Et-series:Et9200 and Et6000.

Yes, you're right.Everyone must know himself whether he wants to try it or not.
Sorry for OT,but when the Vix-Image comes with the new kernel?

I cant say when the next image will be ready or released

and i wont say soon as this has lead to people moaning in the past when it gets delayed or takes us longer than anticipated due to new drivers or kernel changes that need adding to Vix :D
