The new telecommunications satellite Astra 1N completed technical tests on a temporary orbital position 1.8 Wed east. Satellites now goes to its target position 28.2 ° E , which will deliver services to British and Irish market.

Astra 1N is currently in no position to around 5.6 Wed east. According to information from the SES Astra satellite to the target position to work during October 2011. Details will be communicated later.

I am in Southern Spain, we currently need a 1.2m dish minimum for a decent signal, do you think we will have to upgrade our dishes or could it be out of reach altogether ?

Probably best to wait and see what happens with channel movement from astra once the sat is fully running
