View Full Version : RF Output - Black and White, No Sound

Pretty much what the title says..

I'm running the latest WOS image and i've just turned on RF Output.. I've tried the first 40 channels, but all i get is a black and white image with no sound..

Any ideas what's up?

(I'm using a 1m high quality cable btw)

If this is another one of those things that's just not working in this image.. is there an image i could be running where either the RF or Streaming works?

Please someone help.. or atleast let me know if you've got it working.. without the streaming my DM500 clone is looking more useful at this stage!

Pretty sure you can change the RF output frequency, change it and rescan you rf on tv.

i've tried all the frequencies.. my TV will let me specify which channel to manually tune so.. that's how i get the black and white pic.

its the setting in the tm800 RF menu, but off the top of my head i cannot think what it is, but this is where your problem lies m8

OK.. this is really doing my head in now.. Digidude.. any ideas looking at my pics above what setting i should be changing?

on the lg tv menu, change the 'system' from BG to I, on the TM800, you may need to also change the subcarrier to 6.0 or 8.0 to then match

ok, i've got sound now.. but still a b+w pic... do you think it could be the image?

Are you on PAL RGB or Cvbs

PAL will give colour the rest wont

got this sorted now.

Don't know why, but by switching AV output to YpBr (or whatever) i still get a signal on HDMI and now RF is working properly.. woop :)

I have experienced this issue with Pli images before
