Hi guys..
My m8 gave me a 1TB HDD and i already had a 500GB installed in one of my duo`s..
I installed the 1TB last night.. and since then the box just hangs on "Starting"
Is this an issue with the current Vix image.. ??
If i got back to an earlier image just to get it working .. can i then update to the latest image..
Any help would be great..
thanks
What happens if you power off, disconnect the HDD and power back up again?

The box boots as normal..
I see where you going with this.. lol
But the HD came out of another Duo and has been formatted in Fat32..

Try connecting to a PC, deleting all partitions then reconnecting to Duo and initialize.

ok.. have formated the HDD 3 times now and it just sits with VIX spinning..
in top left corner..
I have formatted in Fat and Exfat
I can not format in Fat32 as this option is not given..
Any other suggestions please.. ?
thanks
What model is the HDD?
Have you tried deleting all the partitions in windows? Control panel > Administrive tools > Computer managment > Disk Management.

Just to add 1 more thing..
A m8 of mine that is a member here on this forum also had the same problem yesterday changing from a 250GB to a 500GB..
Both our HDD`s are Seagate.. 1 came from an old Sky HD box.. ( my m8`s ) and mine is brand new from puter shop.. M8 bought it and did not need a hdd as big.. was in his duo for 1 week..

I usually initialize my hard drive using the original Vu+ image (can be found in the download section)
then put back on my backup image :p
