ok just a wee update. seems they have now updated the price to £11.60 delivered for this item but with the code posted by kubo ( many thanks for that ) you get % 5 off the top and if you use quidco you get another % 4 off so it's still a pretty good deal to pick up a couple of 8gb usb flash sticks.

yeah still not a bad deal for a couple of cheap sticks. will be spot on for picons or just chucking in a laptop bag with a spare copy of your os for thoes little emergency's when you need to do a fast clean re-install.

Think I'll use one for picons & the other for timeshift, is 8gb enough for timeshift?
maybe order another two for mobile operating system, hate having to use windows when staying in folks house... & then the last one for swapping movies...

just to let every one know, the price for these sticks has gone back down to £4.98 Delivered ( per single unit ) so if you want to get in and get a great little deal again go for it. also remember to apply the code as mentioned above and both quidco and topcashback offer their respective discounts on this product.

well it was worth a punt at those prices and you should still have the warranty to fall back on if you choose to go that route. although me i'd just fling em in the bin if there that naff.

Silver, I got the 2 sticks & love them, no problems so far & I've trashed one atleast 10 times with different bootable OS, the other one has sat in my duo happily with just picons & epg.

maybe bad batches or do you work yours a lot more?

One is still in its wrapping and the other is in the ET9K so far no problems, I bought a cruzer that went belly up.

The play.com branded are very good but shite for the boxes as too bulky.
