Hi...
Is any chance to get Mgcamd 1.36 and NewCS 170 to ViX image so the box can read irdeto 5.7 card . Regards kaza

hmm, I will test it tonight, maybe something is different with the patched version of newcs.
I will let you know.

Tested and newcs does not work.
Mgcamd 1.36 work just fine though with C+NL:D

Hi there,

First of all a short notice: i didnt had the time to try it with a vix image, nor i know, if the files are stored in the same directorys as written here !!!
I tested it with the VTI 3.0 image on a Solo and Duo ... and it works fine works fine

just copy the files in the same maps as in the zip and set the rights on all the files to 755 (bin and script)

for connect with oscam you have to set up newscamd in the oscam.conf e.g.:

[newcamd]
key = 0001020304050607080910111213
port = 20000@09C4:000000;20001@1830:000000;
and oscam.user

[account]
user = user1
pwd = password1
AU = 1
and change the necamd.list file (not included in the zip) of your box according to the config in oscam.conf and oscam.user:


CWS_KEEPALIVE = 300
CWS_INCOMING_PORT = 12000
CWS = 127.0.0.1 20000 user1 password1 00 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 lan newcs
CWS = 127.0.0.1 20001 user1 password1 00 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 lan newcs

You have to make sure that newcamd client is enabled in mg_cfg either

G: { 01 } for mgcamd to use only newcamd client or
G: { 33 } to use both cccam and newcamd or you can use some other combination.

im not sure where the mg_cfg and newcamd.list have to be on your box ...
can be: /etc
or: /usr/tuxbox/config

have fun


[EDIT] to step over on mgcamd 1.37 just rename the new version file to mgcamd_136 and copy it on your box ... or change the script ;)

The info you have given is for Oscam and not newcs :confused:

i use my fritzbox as server (oscam), and both of my receivers are clients ...

you are right, i didnt try to use the cards local on my box and just use newcs to read the cards ...

i thought, you didnīt get started the combo ...
