wlan issue weird one

Duo been ok this mornin but just come back in and noticed wlan is now showing on vu duo as 54mbps , but my wlan stick is 300mbps , speed is set to 300mbps on superhub and restarted , unplugged stick back in and now it wont go no faster the 54 mbps anyone have any ideas ???

ok i uninstalled a skin aswell this morning this is the only thing i can think of why :confused:

Fortunately a skin has nothing to do with this.....

The stick negotiates the network-protocol/speed with the router/AP; due to several reasons the speed can be limited.
One reason might be, that another client in the network works only on 54mb/s, thus limiting the speed for all participants. Or one client may have a bad signal (laptop in the garden, neighbour listening in?) with the same result.
