webinterface issue

Hi Folks,

I have recently set up my web interface and have set http authorisation to yes, I presumed the password for this was the same as my vu+duo however the password is apparently incorrect. I can get into the box when I switch http authorisation off but obviously this is not what I want to do :confused:

anyone any ideas as to how to sort this out?

im using the new VIX image.

It is exactly the same as the password for your box...

Are you sure you're using the username "root"? Also, can you telnet/ftp in to your box ok?

yes really strange this one, I can access box via telnet/ftp as normal, Ive not changed password for months.

Im using username root so well weird. Ive also tried re-booting box after making the change but still cant gain access when I set http authorisation to yes. Its fine when authorisation is set to no but obviously not the ideal solution.

I also used to access box with my current username and password a couple of months ago when using the blackhole image so I know it works but not now for some reason.

any ideas?

ok, sorted guys,

I just went into telnet and re-set a new password, job done, strange but these things are sent to try us I suppose.
