Using a Vu+ Duo in a motorhome

Does anyone know if the VU+ can accept a 12v DC supply, or does it need 240v AC ? I don't really want to buy a dreambox 600 just to use on the road, but dont want to risk blowing the vu+ trying it out !

You could buy an inverter to covert 12v the 240v just search google for it

I have been using the DUO icw an inverter quite a lot: works great. Don't forget to use the DeepSleep mode (set it as standard after a recording): 20-40W makes quite a difference compared with approx 0.5W (for many hours a day).
