when you say cheap, whats your budget?
not sure of prices, but the "blade" unit is a cheap unit, but I dont rate it, really dependant on what you want, I would go for the uno, or ET5000
well iv got a VU duo so really cheap as possible really just so i can do some tests

The cheapest HD stb that i know about is the Openbox..
A m8 of mine has one.. and it runs perfectly.. It amazes me that he never gets as much as a glitch at anytime..
Just a bit of a nightmare setting up your 1st one.. So be prepared for A LOT of reading.. and it also tends to make you say words you would not normally say.. if you know what i mean.. lol
Depends if you cheap and cheerful with full uk warranty. Personally i'd look at the TM5402 (http://www.world-of-satellite.co.uk/Technomate-TM-5402HD) or Blade BM7000s (http://www.world-of-satellite.co.uk/Blade-Media-BM7000S) if you want cheap, but if you want a single tuner reasonably priced linux box look at the Xtrend ET5000 (http://www.world-of-satellite.co.uk/Xtrend-ET5000-Single-Tuner-DVB-S2-HD-Enigma2-Linux-Satellite-Receiver) or the VU+ Solo (http://www.world-of-satellite.co.uk/VU/Vu-SOLO-Single-Tuner-HD-PVR-DVB-S2-Satellite-Receiver). The ET5000 will perform as fast as your Duo ;)
