vu+ duo & freezing issue

i've recently noticed my vu+ duo has started to freeze.i know its not its set up or internet feed as i have 2 dm500's as well and neither of them freeze when the vu+ does.
i do have a 150gb installed so im wondering if its anything to with that.im doing a total new install with the latest 2.2.1 vix image instead use a 32gb stick in the back for recording the odd thing.
can someone please point me to a guide as to how to set it up with the timeshift and all that.

Guys, wonder if anyone can help us here, i'm having same problem... My Vu+ Duo freeze up after few min from setting up new image and when i leave it for 5min goes back to normal for 5 min and freeze back again........... from reading few post i installed original image back and it did work but as soon as i put any of the preferred image it will start freezing up again every 5 min...

I don't have anything attached to it, No HDD or any sticks as mentioned need to be removed.

Pls help because i can return it back and i need to go back working soon...

Do online updates guys seems to resolve the freezing issue you both describe.
