View Full Version : problem adding harddisk
Hi
I have recently bought a Clarke-Tech ET9000, installed vix 2.2 and would like to add a harddisk. When I connect the harddisk (internally) the ET9000 hangs in booting. It starts okay, but when it reaches the "loading" screen with the animated VIX, it doesn't go any further.
Any ideas?

Try a reflash?
not much of an answer was it
@Erland
Try to boot without hdd that will determin if it is the hdd or not then report back
it may just be the hdd is not partitioned although shouldnt cause vix an issue
Hi Silverfox0786
Thank you for the suggestion.
I have it working now. The hdd was partitioned with one big ntfs partition. I moved the hdd to my desktop and deleted the partition. After that I moved the hdd back to the ET9000, booted, initialized the disk. The problem apparently was the ntfs-partition.
