looking for help and direction on how to flash dm800hd and best image i have got nul leed not sure what programme dream up ?
thanks in advance hope i am in the right section

use a pc and network based

not got one my self but i think you need

to remove power from back

press power button on front of box and hold

return power and wait

stop on display will be seen and dhcp

then an ip address will be read

type that ip into internet explorer / firefox

then follow the on screen prompts

a good image to use is the DreamboxUK image

its in its infant stages and in beta but looks very promising

its available from their site

not sure if its posted here but you can check

at present there is no working dreamboxuk image for the DM8000 receiver due to the author not having a receiver to test on etc. however you could try the openpli image as thats what the dreamboxuk image is loosely based on.

yes there are both images for the dm800 and dm800se available from dreamboxuk,

I would surgest the Nemisis image ( 2.2 ) for the DM 800, there is a file that allows downloads, along with channel listings, you will need the extra url file, which I can post here if needed,

you most likely will need to use a null modem with dreamup, this method takes about 1hr 15mins but very reliable

to update via your browser,
as as per the instructions above, start the 800 and hold the front button, get the ip, and type it into your browser, select "upgade" then select the image you widh to use, this method takes about 5 minutes
