I can't play iso files from dvd.
I have flashed OpenPli 2.0 with drivers 20110627

Is it possible to do it with VIX?

With EGAMI image it should work, as far as I understand.
"DVD Menu works OK - from ISO files also"

Hi

I use vix 2.2.1
When I try to play a dvd-iso, I get stuck at the menu. I can't maneuver and choose what to do. (I do installed dvdplayer)

Regards Erland

I have flashed VIX now, and I also get stuck at the menu.
Maybe this can be fixed with an update, or in next release of VIX?

Ok, it is that simple, that most iso-dvd:s work, but some of them don't work.

I think you should look for an image based on Openpli 2.1 like the Egami.

Or use Openpli 2.1 image from Pli

Don't forget to upgrade the bootloader first or your receiver will become stuck with booting in the display.

I have flashed openpli 2.1, but I never came so far that I downloaded dvdplayer.
I got problems with the channel database. No channels appeared in the box after ftp:ing them from PC.
Ok, as 2.1 has another filesystem compared to 2.0, I thought I had to do a new channels scan.
But in the new database file, all channels with symbolrate 30000 were missing.
And as a lot of HD channels on Thor 0.8W are using SR 30k, I gave up 2.1 and flashed VIX 2.2.100 instead.
