Any ideas on how to lower the ECM times using the internal readers?

I am currently getting 200ms per request using Oscam.

You don't say which version of Oscam you are using or how you have it configured so it is impossible to even give you some idea where to go next with it.

I have oscam version 1.20 build 5807 and I have oscam setup as client and server via dvbapi. Below is my reader config for a white sly uk card

label = lower card
enable = 1
protocol = internal
device = /dev/sci0
caid = 0963
detect = cd
group = 4
emmcache = 1,3,2
blockemm-unknown = 1
blockemm-g = 1

Here is what I use on freesat card, if it does not help I would suggest an external reader such as a smargo and I have read that the card reader drivers may be the cause rather than any external configuration.

label = slot0
enable = 1
protocol = internal
device = /dev/sci0
caid = 0963
detect = cd
mhz = 500
cardmhz = 500
group = 1
emmcache = 1,3,2
blockemm-u = 0
blockemm-s = 0
blockemm-g = 1
blockemm-unknown = 1
lb_weight = 100

I know this is off topic, but been reading about blockemm-g = 1, theres quite a few opinions that its best not to block any emm's as you could end up blocking firmware updates to the card. Anyway users choice :)

I agree with that sic but as mine is a freesat card it makes no difference.

I have also read that MHz is not required when using oscam as oscam does it for you.

What does the freesat card give u over fta/ftv?

Pick TV, Pick TV+1 ch5 HD, LFC TV and a few regional channels.

Can you specify with oscam what reader to use for certain services/channels? so that when you are on a specific channel it knows what reader to use?

You can, I have it working now and my ECM times are much better.
