The Astra 1N Satellite

The Astra 1N satellite was due to launch on July 1, 2011. Th launch of Ariane Spaceflight number 203 was stopped at T minus 1 minute 47 seconds, the countdown clock went red and was then reset to 7 minutes. The fault was a liquid hydrogen valve failure. , Arianespace will announce a new date soon.
The satellite will be copositioned at 28.2° east with Astra's other satellites, providing additional narrow beam capacity for broadcasters in th the British Isle.
Astra 1N is expected to remain at this position until the arrival of Astra 2E in 2013.
Astra 1N satellite will have 55 transponders.
The Astra 1N footprint shown below should be viewed with some skepticism. signal strength or EIRP (Effective Isotropic Radiated Power) shown, are conservative estimates to ensure reliable reception throughout the coverage area (footprint). Satellites do not radiate nice clean patterns as shown on satellite reception maps.
Of course no one really knows just how Astra 1N reception will be on the fringes of the official footprint, some transponder may perform better than others. For now it is all speculation.
That said, a first look at the Astra 1N footprint does give room for optimism, the official coverage area is larger than that of Astra 2D, which could give better reception on the fringes of the satellites intended coverage area.

live streamed coverage of the launch can be viewed from the arianespace site at time of launch

Does this mean that Astra are putting their plan together now to stop European viewers watching 28.2 East.. ??
