Cannot connect to my vu+solo2 after installing Picons into user/share/enigma2

Hi all wondered if anybody could help me

i have my vu+ solo2 on latest blackhole, now iv tried to install two different Picons sets today and both always give me that green error screen when i restart my box.

Also i can no longer connect to the box with Dreamboxedit, filezilla or VUCC, all since installing picons,

as anybody else ever heard of such a problem like this?

the picon sets iv tried installing are MK picons and OSCAMS

Why have you put picons in usr/share?

The 'picon' folder is best either in flash (root) or on a usb drive (media/usb)

He is using BlackHole. Not sure if the version/skin he is using accepts picon folder on root as a location. Our image also accepts "/usr/share/enigma2/picon" as that is what was used by all images to begin with. Both are valid.

MK picons are over 150 MB in size. I suspect he has filled his flash memory. Pretty sure all images will take /media/usb/picon

I have always been told its best to put picons in usr/share/enigma2/picon

like abu baniaz said, im guessing them MK picons have used up all my flash memory., so would that be why i cannot log into the box through VUCC and filezilla tho, but filling up flah memory really stop me doing that?

yes im using the latest blackhole version.

would all you guys say that its best if i put the picons into root or would i still get the error with the MK picons? or isit best ot put picons onto USB

also my problems with the EPG i suppose they will be vixed if i put epg onto USB as well?

I am seriously thinking about moving to VIX, as i really like that skin what looks like sky.
 
EPG on physical HDD or USB flash drive. Does not matter which.

For picons, internal flash memory is the fastest. If you are going to be using a large picon set (such as MK's set), better to put them on a USB stick instead of flash memory.

Ok thank you, iv just reflashed my vu+ solo2 and now im able to connect via VUCC and filezilla etc.

now what is the best way of setting up the EPG as i keep having to click crossepg every day to get that days EPG. or should i be saying when i click the EPG button on the remote, sometimes it doesnt load the summarys of the programmes but when i click crossepg it always loads the summarys.
is this something to do with it being on the HDD
 
ye i just want a good set of picons to be honest for 28.2 the offical ones that sky use but also one that is updated by the developer
