TBH, I don't understand the purpose of what you are requesting. The point was to replace an ABM channel that was unavailable with a stream. It has never been the job of ABM to add channels that ABM can't tune.

Ok I was just going by this commit https://github.com/oe-alliance/AutoB...2b22eea443624e and the updated readme.txt from here https://github.com/oe-alliance/AutoB...12d5310c965576 line 283 that explains we can add streams to empty slots, Im sorry if I miss read it but I have successfully added Bein Sports HD to 701 using that guide so I was just wondering if we could force a custom service reference if not then we will need to stick to "1:0:1:0:0:0:0:0:0:0:". And EPG wont work

TBH I am thinking of reverting that commit as it goes against the philosophy of the plugin. If people want to add a stream to an empty slot they can do so with a hack. Adding code to the plugin for something that most users will never use doesn't make sense to me.

Guys ultimately what I was hoping to achieve is having access to something similar to dsayers plugin whereby there was an option to mix freeview in with iptv. The thinking was that I could watch and record alternative channels, whereas right now the moment I record an iptv channel it auto stops when I change the channel. A mix of both would work a treat for me, we watch alot of freeview but also be very useful to have iptv availability inside of the same bouquet so has to use standard channel numbers for all channels. I hope that makes sense

Using dsayers plugin before I could mix virgin and sky, so black channels for sky could be replaced with virgin. So all freeview channels 101 to the corresponding channel line up like sky. Again hopefully this makes sense

I still haven't got around to playing with this yet but intending to do so over Xmas for sure. Quick question when looking to insert streams for 28.2, what would I need to run through ABM ie which providers?

Also I don't have a satellite dish so will I have any problems running ABM for 28.2?

You need an IPTV provider that supports use of m3u files because you can then edit these files to search for the IPTV streams you wish to use.

More than likely yes as ABM still needs to scan satellite.
