I followed Abu's suggestion and bought the TM Nano M3 with a Netis 300Mbps wireless N adapter (the one WoS sell). I have the Nano working in client mode on an ethernet cable, but the instructions re the Netis are pretty light. Am I right in thinking I need to download a driver, and does anybody know if any of the drivers in the OpenVix plugins will work? Sorry if I should have posted this in another section.

The only problem I'm having with client mode on the cable so far is as follows. I'm using a VU+ Solo 2 as the host server. On this receiver I have one tuner on 28.2 and one on a movable dish, that due to a fault is stuck on 19.2. My problem is that if the Solo is on a 28.2 channel that is the only channel from that satellite that I can view on the client, whereas I can change and view channels on the 19.2 satellite. Is that normal? I was expecting that the channel in use would limit the ability to change just to channels on that transponder. All the bouquets from the VU+ have come across to the Nano. Once again thanks in advance for any advice.

According to the WOS site, the Netis drivers are pre-installed in ViX.

You need to reboot the box after the adapter has been plugged in.

Thanks. Once I knew the driver was there I entered the SSID and PW and the Nano has connected via wi-fi. There is the very slight occasional lag though, even with the client sitting beside the Virgin Media Superhub 2. Having said that, it seems better after a few minutes.

    1) It imports the bouquets and EPG.
    2) Local tuners are disabled, i.e. streaming is the only way, not a fallback.

I have just tried it and I get a mseeage no data in PAT?? (just ran down the stairs and forgot the whole messgae!!!)

    Ideas?

Main box 1 is connected to a motorosied dish and fixed dish, Slave Box 2 uses this client method to work of Main Box 1's tuner, can Slave Box 2 select a channel to use the motoroised dish connected to Main box 1?

    Hope hat makes sense.

Can this be used to pull in selected bouquets or would I be best using remote streams converter to send individual bouquets?

No, it makes an identical copy of the bouquets.

Tried a few ways but I must be missing something. I can get the client receiver to change satellites and channels but unable to figure out how to get the client receiver to record on the server receiver.
